I'm not mad at those that voted for Obama. Why? Because they exercised their right to vote! We all have a right to our own opinions. They at least appreciate the country they live in that gives them that freedom to vote for whom they want without being beaten or even killed. I'm mad at those that choose not to because... they didn't like either candidate, they figured Obama had it in the bag (why bother) and for whatever excuse one used. Every vote counts! Ever heard that phrase?
Am I freaked out? No, not really. Because I know that God is in control. And no matter what happens around me, He's got my back. What does this mean... it means that Christians everywhere need to ban together and start using their voices. Whether it's being bold and telling everyone they meet about Jesus, or coming together to fight for a cause. It's time to stand. It's not time to be in fear of the unknown.
Psalm 23:4 says "Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
Read Psalm 91.
Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Isaiah 43:5 "Do not be afraid, for I am with you..."
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."...
And so I leave you with this...
Philippians 4:4-6 "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Banning together I’m all for…and not just with other Christians but All people. All people. From all religions, all cultures, all races, all walks of life. ALL.
